New 70's League: 24-Team, $60M

PostSun Sep 30, 2012 7:58 pm

Want a true test of your managerial abilities? How about this:

- 24-Team 70's League.
- $60M with DH.
- 25 Players at all times.
- 5/10/20 Weighted Waivers.
- Auto-Draft

We've been talking about this in a league I'm in now and we have some interest. How about you? Add your name below. If you are new to SOM, we still welcome you.

We should go ahead and create the league so people can join up. By the time this sign up fills we may have lost some of those who had signed up earlier. Just a thought.

Gathering 24 people could be like herding cats.

Makes sense to me, maybe when people see the league they will join.

Will someone take the step of setting up the league. I can do it, but it might be closer to the weekend. Randy?

It's not looking good for this idea. Let's give it a few more days. GMac, if this doesn't go you should pull your team and save the credit.

I wish we could find another dozen managers. 24 teams in a $60m 70's league will be crazy competitive.

I've tried to help Paul by signing up twice for this league. Not to worry, if this league doesn't work out, I'm sure you devise something else. After all, you are the chief fundraiser for Hal Richman!
