The cards or the dice?

PostSun Oct 21, 2012 10:07 am

Frustrating morning of playoff baseball. In the finals, and lose games 1 and 2. I went back and recounting the dice rolls and got out rolled -4 in game one and -19 in game two (meaning the roll came up on his card 4 more times in game one and 19 more times in game two).

Ugh! The 162 game season tends to even out the dice rolls and the cards matter more, but those pesky playoffs seem to be a better indicator of who rolls the hot dice than who has the better constructed team.

Yep, not only dice rolls, but when you get they.
I swear that as soon as I get a one out triple, the next batter automatically gets a strikeout on the pitchers card.

Gee, kind of sounds like real MLB playoff baseball.

It does, and let's keep that reality out of my playoffs!

Dice are deadly. Here's a good one.
Just faced Jim Tobin. He threw 6.1 innings
12 rolls on his card.
7 of them in the 6 column, 5 in the 5 column.
Of course it's the 4 column that's loaded with hits.
