It's actually pretty common. It is an offensive option with runners on first and third, the offensive manager can choose to sacrifice the runner over to second while holding the runner at third. Just happened against me playing head to head a couple days ago. Here is the rule:
18.4 In Advanced and Super Advanced, the sacrifice also may be used with runners at first and third base in order to move the runner from first to second. Simply use the sacrifice as you would in other situations and follow the results.
However, in all instances, the runner on third remains there, even if the batter beats out the bunt for a hit. If the batter pops out into a double play, the runner on first is doubled-up and the runner on third base holds.
