No open 90s leagues?

PostWed Oct 17, 2012 9:46 pm

Looking to try Back to the 90s, but see no open leagues available. Any idea how often one comes around? Also, there are a few prviate 90s leagues with only a couples signed up. What gives?

Create a new one then. Why wait for someone else to create a league.

Because rather than wait a couple weeks for a 90s league to fill, I'd rather jump in an 80s or 70s that fill up faster.

If everyone felt the same way you do, then leagues would never fill.

And we all wonder why leagues dont fill up fast enough...

if folks would just create or jump into whatever league they felt like playing instead of waiting, then leagues would fill faster and there would be less waiting.

Now, if you're undecided on what to play and you choose the league that's closest to being full, that's another story and is perfectly fine.

But if you want to play the 90s and see nothing currently good to join, so decide to play the 80s instead because it's closer to full, IMO that's just silly.

That's fine in principle, but my stepping up and creating a new league isn't going to put my $14.95 to work any faster as I wait for another 11. Given that there are only two public 90s leagues out there, each with only 1 team, I'm guessing there aren't too many interested.
