I don't see the 6th round being added to my total points, do you add that in only if the total is higher than a previous round?

Yes, that appears to me to be exactly the way it works. Your lowest event is dropped, so once your event #6 overtakes your current lowest event, it will start incrementing again. I look at DOHowser1 who missed one event, and I see that all 5 of his remaining events are listed in his current total. So his totals keep incrementing, while everyone else's will stand still until their event #6 reachest their current lowest.

I don't recall how this was calculated and worked in last year, but it does appear to be how it is working this time.
