I loaded my team, not sure which division I'm assigned to. Let me know if I need to take my team out of the east.

I think It would be difficult to move people from divisions by pulling out and rejoining etc. I guess it will come down to the order in which each team joins. What does anyone else think?

Conndor has a good idea, but at this point about running only your teams carded players all year. I guess at this point after the season starts we have to leave it up to the managers. But like any team, trades and pickups may become necessary as the year goes on. I also will try to keep players from my own cards for as long as possible.

What do others think?

BTW, Thanks for the interest in this from everyone. :) should be fun

I used a team name of Pennsylvania Keystones for my Pittsburgh/Philadelphia team. If that is not good let me know and I will change it.

I will be able to create and load my team sometime Saturday the 10th, as I am at work until very late tonight.

Personally I think this would be even cooler if we limited ourselves to only using players from our assigned teams for the whole season: e.g. I could only use players that have at least 1 season with KC or STL. It may be to my detriment, but I think for the sake of a challenge I may try to limit myself to those parameters at least at the beginning of the season. I have done these 2 franchise leagues before (one of my only 2 championships came from this type of theme league) and I really, really enjoy these, and I hope everyone else does too.

I didn't see your post about using city/region in name until after I joined. I left league and did not see anyway to edit the team name. Is my name ok? Obrycki's crab house is/was in Baltimore. If I need to change, how do I do it?

BigAM, go to the League page where you joined and tab right under "my team" it will let you change your team name-- just need Baltimore or something in it-- the rest is up to any preference. BTW I love Baltimore, great restaurants in the old neighborhoods

Ok back in the country and just want to make sure I got the rules right.

I agree with staying with players who played at least one season with tyour regenial team. Basically that means all palyers who only played for your team are your protected players for the season. PLAyers who played with one or more regional teams are basically up from grabs but only between the regional teams that player was with.

Not worried about the divisions.
