I'd be ok with scrapping round 8 in order to start Monday.

I'm also fine with skipping round 8.

Do we have to be loaded by midnight tonight in order to start on Monday? If that's the case, we should probably load on a first come, first served basis, instead of randomizing divisions and then loading accordingly. Just a thought...

Yes, we have to be loaded tonight. Cant remember if it is till midnight EST or now 11 EST.

I agree that round 8 should be eliminated, but since seven isn't complete, I don't see any reason to worry about getting filled tonight. Admittedly, Thanksgiving poses a problem, but if we fill by Sunday, waivers will be before then -- OR to be safe we could wait til after Thanksgiving, since many of us will be on the road and/or distracted by by family goings-on.

Hello everyone. I've been tied up in a seminar all day and just returned home a little while ago. Man, it's tough to get an ILC draft completed when the message boards are down all morning.

Like everyone else, I'm frustrated at the pace of the draft. But I agree with Herm. It seems pointless to eliminate round 8 to autodraft our teams tonight if we can't even get round 7 loaded tonight. Even if round 8 was eliminated, if we can't get round 7 drafted, odds are the teams won't get loaded.

My team, too, is ready to load and has been ready to load all week. I have a feeling the 8 round draft will be completed on Saturday or Sunday. If we have to start on Monday, November 26, so be it. Since we pretty much know who will be on our rosters, a frenzy makes the most sense. If we finish the draft on Saturday and get our teams loaded, If you like, I'll petition the powers that be to start on Monday, November 19. if we don't start on November 19, we'll have all week to tweak our teams or not.

By the way, there will be random division assignments. I tried to respond to MSer's question this morning before leaving for the seminar, but the message board was down.
