I've never had a bad season from Oglivie. One of the best bang for buck cards in the entire set, especially in boomer parks that favor lefty hitters. I wholeheartedly agree with nels52 ($5-$6 mil lefty slugger being noticeably absent from the set) and said so several months ago in the old TSN forums under one of the new card threads when I said that there was a hole in the set for bargain power hitting lefty corner OFers who can occasionally catch the ball compared to bargain righty power hitting corner OFers. After that, we got new Oglivie, Tony Oliva and Kirk Gibson cards, which helps, but didn't go far enough. Hopefully, we'll get more soon.
Anyway, below is what Ben's done for my teams with a $100 mil cap:

Here's one at $80 mil:

Oglivie won't give you a high OBP, but he's perfect for a team in a boomer park with high OBP players batting in front of him. Under those circumstances, you can expect him to average around .270 45 120, maybe more, which for $5.42 mil is a real bargain.
