ATG VII is here.

In case you don't look at the announcements, ATG VII is coming with 200 new cards and 4 fantasim cards removed.

what do you think the over/under is on the repricing of the replaced fantasim cards (vaughan, lajoie, dickey and mathews)?

vaughan - $8-9 mil range

lajoie - $10 mil range

dickey - $9-10 mil range

mathews - $10 mil range

i think the 15 game injury risk will bring the vaughan and lajoie card back to the pack when they are made a bit more realistic.

at least Barry's card is a true card and not a ridiculous made-up season.
And he's appropriately priced.

Since when does 200 new cards constitute a whole new ATG release?? Hopefully it comes with the live draft feature and manager ratings as well. The shuffle thing isn't a bad idea but pales in comparison to a functional live draft with caps. Would also have been nice for STRAT to have solicited community feedback on the cards that we want. For all his faults, Bernie at least sought community input when new cards are added and then gave them to us.

I'd like to see a Gus Zernial card. The guy had enough 30+ hr seasons to warrant one.

I wonder how the "shuffle the deck" feature would function in actual situations, such as if I participate in a limited player set "shuffled" league, how do I know which players are available to draft, or is it a blind faith draft where I join a league without specifying the players I want, and the player pool is only revealed after the league fills up? I'm curious about the logistics involved, and I'm sure I wouldn't jump in until after several weeks when I have a better understanding of how the shuffle feature plays out, and some feedback from the first few guinea pig leagues.

They really need to reduce the RP innings and eliminate or raise the price on the extreme platoons. I am glad to see the fantasm cards re-calculated.
