With a new pool being set every season absorbing ATG VII players should be no problem as long as the new players don't throw the player groupings out of whack. ABC = 50, DEF = 50 etc. because not every new player will be available in any one season anyway. Some will just have to wait their turn, just like we are waiting on the new group of Replacement Pitchers added for Season 27 G,K,E,O,V,U


As far replacing the Fanatsim players, first see if the replacement cards are in the same salary range with roughly a franchise player card. If the cards aren't in the same salary / value range then give everyone a chance, if they wish, to trade out one franchise player in the average salary range of A.Vaughn, 12.34, B Dickey, 10.38, E.Mathews, 11.26, Salary average is 11.326

Supplemental Draft
Fantasim players would be replaced first, worst to first, then worst to first for the managers that would like to switch out a franchise player, for sake of example with a minimum salary of 9.326 and a maximum salary of 13.326. Two million either side of the average. Most everyone is going to hang on to their franchise players anyway, so I don't believe many will opt to switch. But the option will be there if ATG VII brings in some got to have studs.

Just a thought, this idea can be massaged anyway everyone thinks it would be fair or just plain chuck it.

Joe, I appreciate the effort you made to resolve this Fantasim issue, but I don't understand what price the player's card is has to do with anything. I drafted Mathews (number one overall) because I made the determination that he was the best card in the set. If only the lower price Mathews was available I would have taken either Musial,Ruth or Bonds. So, I don't understand why I would be handicapped in an attempt to replace the guy I took number one overall by putting a limit on the price of the replacement player. Again, he was the number one overall pick. His replacement should be equally worthy of that pick.

Additionally, I seem to be the only one affected. Since I was the only one who has used a Fantasim card. Hackra had Dickey but he didn't use his Fantasim card he used a lower priced card. And, Arky Vaughan wasn't an eligible player this season due to the omission of his letter grouping.

Andrew, no way I want anyone handicapped, I just threw an idea out and like I said massage the idea or just throw it out. You can drop the salary range, it was just a starter idea. I just think if there is going to be a supplemental draft to replace a franchise player everyone who might want to change a franchise player should have a chance. Like myself I probably wouldn't want to change my best player, but I'm sure there might be a few that might have interest in changing a franchise player.

I've always detested the FantaSim cards. They should never have been included in the SOM card set. We're only one season in, a reboot wouldn't be a big thing. I have no problem going along with any decision.
