Update over the last 2 months

PostWed Nov 28, 2012 6:33 pm

So remember when Strat sent an email, cut prices and explained how they have "multiple" programmers not just Bernie and will continue to resolve all the problems.

It was a great first step, I do mean it. It helped appease and give a break to everyone.

But it seems like it has stopped there.

What changes have occurred since then? There doesn't seem to be any real changes. The old sets/fantasim are still gone, along with their data. The wish list has been ignored.

Great ATG 7 is coming, more cards! Another band-aid to keep our minds off of the fact that the change over STILL isn't done, all the bugs STILL aren't fixed, all the promises STILL aren't kept.

Cheap prices and new cards keep your minds off the fact that they still haven't finished what they were supposed to.

With their "team of programmers", where is the progress, because I haven't seen it.

Geekor-

you hit the head on the nail.
I also didnt see anyone ask for the shuffle the deck feature- so its kind of an odd thing to have installed- maybe someone did, but it certainly has not been a community request.

I do give credit for 2 things:
1. The site is up and running better than it used to by a good bit
2. They did give us flexible caps which is a decent feature.

Having said that- we have not been getting updates from our community liaison on any kind of regular basis.
The FAQs have gone untouched in months- Im having a difficult time believing that a 'new' employee hired to work with us and directed with those tasks would let them drop so precipitously-
and along with this- we have had no updates on a live draft feature returning.

Let me stop complaining since as one person mentioned, it clearly gets us nothing- except maybe a big discount on price, better service and a better game. BTW- to the person who said that- you can mail Geekor, Visick, myself, Nev, Druid, and the other bunch of us who did complain a check for the difference anytime you want...

PS: Geekor- I love that pic!

Not so sure about that "pic." They couldn't spring for a model with all her teeth? Hmmm... sort of like SOM.

I'd take that over one with all her teeth any day of the week. ;)

I doubt you'd be so picky -- didn't you name one of your teams "party in my pants?"

Count me in on skeptical on the shuffle feature. The subset leagues don't fill now. And the community
seems to want/like more cards, not less cards. Maybe if the subsets have 80% or 90% of the entire set,
otherwise it feels more like substraction, less like shuffling.

I think the deck shuffle has potential . . . of course, it's hard to see how it will pan out. Hopefully it will work with higher caps (would suck if you take a higher cap, and it eliminates a lot of high-salary players...).

I posted about a DH rule error on here a while back. I guess I need to address that elsewhere, I don't believe anyone at Strat responded.

I think the model looks fine . . . imperfect teeth can add character to a person's smile.

I don't even know why I'm posting. I'm terrible at ATG. I'm bad recently, period. I've played in four leagues since the switch over, best finish is 3rd . . . which I've managed once. My new ATG team is off to a 2-4 start. Blah.
