Gutsy owner needed for last season $100 mil DH "Dream Team"

Hello everyone. Have you ever looked at the undrafted players from a $100 mil league and said to yourself that you could build a playoff team from those players?

I know that I had said that many times, so several seasons ago I jumped at the chance to be a replacement for the ailing Steve Ames (errormagnate) in the ongoing $100 mil DH "Dream Team" advanced league with 5/10/20 drop.

Now we need a replacement manager for the 12th and final season of the "Dream Team" league that's currently drafting on Diamond Dope.

As you probably know, the "Dream Team" format is very simple. Managers draft their ENTIRE team and then a unique stadium. Then the next manager in line does the same until all twelve teams are picked.

While it might seem like teams picking near the bottom would be at a disadvantage, the talent pool is so deep that in the last 3 seasons the teams with the 12th (Munich Man), 10th (BDWard) and 11th (goreds) picks, respectively, got rings. Members of the league since its inception say that the manager with the first pick has NEVER gotten a ring.

Your pick for this season is 7th. The first 6 teams have already been drafted. There are TONS of great players left, and I daresay that it's obvious that one could build a very strong team in a righty or lefty park as Gibson, Bagwell, Dimaggio, Kiner, Hornsby, Lajoie, Thomas, Pujols, Aaron, Wagner, Henderson and many other good righty sticks remain, not to mention the great lefty/switch sticks remaining such as Mantle, Charleston, Dickey, McCovey, Walker, Speaker, Musial, Williams, Gehrig, Morgan, Mauer, R. Jackson, J. Jackson, Boggs, Yaz, etc., along with too many top flight starting pitchers to mention them all, including 44 at more than $9 mil, with 11 of those being $10 mil plus. Among relief pitchers, there are 38 pitchers remaining worth more than $4 mil, including 13 above $5 mil.

Divisions are grouped with teams picking 1,4,7,10 in the East, 2,5,8,11 in the Central and 3,6,9,12 in the West.

This is a league full of good managers and good guys.

So if you have the ego and the balls to believe that you can get a ring with the 7th pick, and don't back down from a challenge, then this league is for you.

This last Dream Team league was created by MEAT, so it's his call as to whether or not it will be a frenzy, but past leagues have used the frenzy, so I expect this league will be a frenzy as well.
