I think 2min would work fine. I don't think 45sec on DD would work well as you have to manually refresh the screen to update the clock.

I agree that 2 min is probably best for DD. The site can be pretty slow at times. But I also think we shouldn't do the full 25 rounds on the dope. Can frenzy at least some of them.

You can do a shorter draft, but you need to do an even number of rounds.

ex. - If you do 15 rounds, the guy with the 1st pick gets the 1st pick of each round 8 times. The guy with the 12th pick, gets 1st pick of each round 7 times. I suggest 16 rounds.

and a Start time of either 9pm or 9:30pm to give a little buffer in case the draft runs long.

We have to be loaded by 11pm est I believe to frenzy. We would have to start before 9 pm est. The dope site is very slow when 12 managers are using the draft at the same time.

I wanted to sleep on it before commenting. There are some minor downsides, some
of us loathe the slow clocks (Big Ric himself once compared slow drafts to watching
paint dry -- I have never watched paint dry, but if its as boring as a slow draft, its
really boring, IMHO === that was a joke, I appologize/kind of/ if you like slow drafts *** ).

But I see practical merrits in Big Ric's suggestion: many of us haven't done these drafts
in ahwile and we are probably a bit rusty (i.e., slower), and we would like to Frenzy afterward.

So I am liking the idea for a no-clock pre draft head start -- this time.
Other comments, please? **

You are doing fine. The most important thing is making sure everyone is on the same page. And that everyone knows the details of the draft. Time/date of DD Draft, number of rounds, deadline for setting up the auto-draft card...etc

If there are any significant changes or issues, I suggest changing the subject heading to get everyone's attention.
