Personally, I love the idea and have been thinking about it for a while. Great point though TRW about the stadiums I never really considered that. This should-be easy-to-implement idea has got me really excited PLUS they're gonna get rid of the Fantasim PED cards!!!

Way to go SOM

I'm not saying this was "my idea," but I distinctly remember posting something along these lines in the old suggestions thread...

Taking a tour around the "shuffle" feature.

Personally, I think it's pretty cool. I've got to figure a way to get a nice repeating or keeper league or something.

I would make this suggestion to SOM:

When you make a new team there is a rolling index of "shuffled deck" leagues available to create a team in. It would be helpful to someone creating a new team to know how many cards/stadiums are being utilized in each particular shuffle. Also, it would be helpful to know how many teams have entered each of those leagues so far.

Also,

How do you know what the salary cap is going to be for each league?

If there's 7 leagues listed, I'm sure they're all supposed to be different.

Are Shuffle the Deck leagues set up as Private Leagues? I do not see anywhere on the league screen where is says anything about that.

If I join a Public League and it turns out to be a "Shuffle the Deck" card set, I will be royally pissed.

You have to specifically pick a particular shuffle league when you create your team or change it to be in one. That is where they are listed. You go into the league before you pick your players. In case you are unaware, there is also a shuffle option therein to limit the number of stadiums. If you go to the league directory and jump in a league there, it is not a shuffle league.

While I don't recall reading or hearing anything about the feature, kudos for giving it a go and trying it.
I like initiative. :D I do appreciate the trying.

It just seems to me there are more pressing needs that need to be addressed.

Kind of like sitting at a stadium with broken seats, but they are excited about a brand new jumbotron.

So, if I understand it correctly - u get 12 mgrs together, determine the shuffle criterea (number of players, number of stadiums - and the usual sal cap/DH etc) then create a private league with a pw?

I set one up yesterday(acually like 8 because they were not showing up/allowing me to join but they fixed that). There was no place to put a password.

You set up the league, it shows up on the page to pick salary cap etc. and you just jump in and then create your draft card.

Set can be 1000-2000 in increments of a hundred.

You can set max salary per player anywhere from 9 mill to 15 mill(or none) in increments of 500000 and/or 1 mill.......don't remember exactly

You have a range of options for stadiums from 30 to all of them.

I would set one up if I had a sense of what people want. I suspect people will shop around til they get a set they like and may be tough to fill but.....
