L.E.G. Keeper League Chat Thread

I will get up early tomorrow to pick when my time comes. I live on the west coast and the way the draft picks go right now I can't give them to anyone ahead of me and even though edub will do a fine job of making my pick, he is in my division and I don't want to show my hand to him by giving him 6 players that I am looking at.
I will draft by 9:15est if it is my pick, if not I will proxy the picks I need to someone that has picked by then and hopefully I won't have to give up that many players. If you need to pass me so be it but I will check in the morning.

If you PM six individual posts enumerated in order by your highest preference (one post with subject line of "First preference" and so on. And put in only one player in each post you will be okay. The person you send these too can be instructed not to open any of them up unless absolutely necessary. In other words, if your first preference player is available then the rest of your posts never have to be read....and you can track that in your PM section by looking at whether a post you send is listed as "outbox" or in red. Basically you'll knowwhen/if someone has read a particular post you've sent but you shouldn't worry about as I'm sure whomever receives it will do as you instruct. After your pick is made by this method you can also instruct them to delete your other posts with the enumerated player preferences, thereby keeping your preferred players a mystery to all.

That is a great idea and I will do that next time. I don't have time today. I will check from my phone during work. I will post from it but won't be able to copy.

Dale you were on...why didn't you pick...you were up?

I can see how people are going in different directions but it just blew me away that Bautista was still around at #24. I just couldn't pass him up. I know his card won't be very good next year but had to grab him. It is hard to make picks back to back when you wait so long for it to come around again. Looks like the division I am in will hitting the ball pretty hard. M. Cabrera, Baitista, Kemp, Fielder, Cano and Gordon. Will be some pretty good games to watch.

Gentlemen,

JUST to make sure we're all on the same page:

2) Any player that has been carded in the 2011 or previous set(s) (not to include “unleashed” players) are eligible.

There are some players in the 2011 "unleashed" set that have had a card in the "regular" set previously. We are able to draft them, just remember we won't be able to use them this season since we will always utilize the "regular" set.

I did the homework for us, the following 10 players had cards in a previous year's set:

I believe that some of those guys were in the unleashed set.
