One of the hazards of being in the toughest division in your league. 4th place had 78 wins,
a very respectable total for a 4th place team.

I definitely hear you about losing in the playoffs; just lost in five games in the semis with a team that had 103 regular season wins. Loved the regular season, but not even being competitive in the playoffs hurts. Lost at home in a blow out in the first game at Hilltop against a lefty strong hitting team. They got 5 home runs at Hilltop! So much for home field advantage...

I'm venting in a different direction.

Ever since the "Saturday Night Massacre" or "Saturday Night Do Over" of last week, one of the few teams that I've ever had in first place has gone completely south. Before the whining started to replay last Saturday's games, I had a six game lead.
Eight nights later, after a complete reversal of last Saturday's games and a complete reversal of "fortune" ever since to the tune of 9-15, I'm now 2 games out of first place. This seemed like the most convenient and opportunistic time to whine and vent about that F.U.B.A.R. course of events.
