Some of you are familiar with Somworld. From current season stats they attempt to project Strat cards (with varying degrees of success). One of their spreadsheets is an RC/RA breakdown of the players. Yesterday they adjusted their rankings based on the defense ratings release.

Here are the top 10 players to give you an idea of the RC/RA numbers:

Cano, Robinson - 84
McCutchen, Andrew - 77
Braun, Ryan - 69
Posey, Buster - 68
Trout, Mike - 66
Cabrera, Miguel - 64
Beltre, Adrian - 63
Cabrera, Melky - 68
Hill, Aaron - 50
Molina, Yadier - 50

There can never be enough numbers in baseball so post your roster and I'll give you the rank for your players and the average for your team.
(A word of caution: I've gotten the impression over the years that they discount a players ability greatly based on lack of PA's. This would explain someone like Kozma, who will be a superstar if he gets an Unleashed card, only scoring a 5 on the RC/RA ranking)

Runs created vs. runs allowed. How good is the players offense vs. how many do they give up on D.

Gosh, I wasn't aware this was abuse Palmtana's time to help us determine how good or bad our core hitters/fielders are. If possible, I would like to see how my two teams fare vs. the rest.

TEAM #1
Braun LF
Molina Y C
Ortiz DH
Kinsler 2B
Butler 1B
A Escobar SS
A Rios RF/CF
Middlebrooks 3B
Granderson CF

TEAM #2
Phillips 2B
Ruggiano CF
Aybar SS
Fransden 3B
Lucroy C
Hart 1B-RF
E Young RF
Goldschmidt 1B

To my defense, for Team #2, my first 4 picks was a stud 4-man starting rotation. Not sure if they will get much support by this lineup.
