All right, we'e ready to get started!
Divisions for the first season will be based on the order as posted in the original list:
EAST
1. Boston - Milwaukee - Atlanta Braves
2. Brooklyn - Los Angeles Dodgers
3. Chicago Cubs
4. Cincinnati Reds
CENTRAL
5. New York - San Francisco Giants
6. Philadelphia Phillies
7. Pittsburgh Pirates
8. St Louis Cardinals
WEST
9. Second-Chance NL Cities: New York Mets ('62) & Milwaukee Brewers ('98)
10. Southwest Expansion: Houston Astros ('62) & Arizona Diamondbacks ('98)
11. North/South Expansion: Montreal Expos - Washington Nationals ('69) & Florida - Miami Marlins ('93)
12. Western Expansion: San Diego Padres ('69) & Colorado Rockies ('93)
Managers will be assigned to teams in the order shown above, based on the most-recent "daily 3" winners shown on the lotteryusa.com site as of 10:00AM EST tomorrow, December 21. The manager with the lowest lottery number will get team 1, next lowest will get team 2, etc.
Team assignments in subsequent seasons will rotate down the list. For example, the Braves manager of season 1 will get the Dodgers in season 2, the Cubs in season 3, etc.
Division assignments for each manager in subsequent seasons will be based on lottery results, with the lowest 4 numbers going to the East, the middle 4 to the Central, and the highest 4 to the West.
Note to Sknsfan: Hawaii does not appear to have a lottery. If you would like to choose another state before tomorrow morning, that's fine; otherwise, I will use the Puerto Rico lottery for you.
