sevnties firstbaseman

PostFri Dec 21, 2012 12:20 pm

Been striking out on first basemen. Bloomberg, Montanez and Pepitone. Playing at yankee stadium. Have Piniella raking LHPs, so all I need is a platoon guy, preferably with power. McCovey is available, though I would have to do some juggling to afford him. I have 4.62 million.
So, who do you guys like between Fairly, Milner, Chambliss, Kranepool and Spencer. Spencer intrigues me..he can hit lefties. I could use Piniella in the OF. Lee May would give my lineup some balance, but I don't like him in Yankee stadium as much.

I would shuffle the deck to get an untried McCovey.

McCovey's a stud and far better than anyone on that list. A distant second is Fairly, he can hit R's and fields well.
