Thanks, Frank. I have always believed that it was necessary to come to this conclusion - follow the history of my posts. But the point I have been trying to make is that this is just another example of the complete lack of attention to detail and to the wishes of the community by the management. This issue has been raised over and over again in the various incarnations of Franchise leagues here, and not only has nothing been done about it, but the problem has never even been acknowledged as far as I know.
And I strongly believe that 25 years of history for the Rockies and Padres, and WS appearances by the Marlins, Rays, and D'Backs, certainly merit more than a few cards from each franchise. Yes, I understand that SOM sells individual teams, and that these editions certainly are attractive to fans of those teams, but they can get around that easily.
This product could be so much more attractive to Strat gamers (and there are many of them) if they would just exert a little bit of effort. And If they did that, it would be a lot more fun for us, too, since leagues would fill faster, there would be more new players, and all in all the quality of the product would improve.
I just don't understand their reluctance to communicate with us!
