The hitting is good but the pitching is terrible. You've got to shore it up or you'll lose games 11-10.

Looks like you're going to try the "super reliever" route and play catch-up in the later innings?

With the added firepower, I assume it's a DH league?

Yep, dh. I know the pitching is weak at best  just want to have some fun first team back. Maybe next team will be more balanced. ;)

So, are things better here than the old site?

Your RH batters will play 105 games in BPHR = 1
Your LH batters will play 111 games in BPHR = 1 + 12 games in BPHR = 3 (123 games total; 3/4 of your season)

You have 3 guys with the max 8 BPHR vs both LH & RH. That's a lot of outs.

Think about
1. replacing Pudge (and his 8 wasted BPHR) with a 3.5-4.1M guy of nearly equal defense w/fewer BPHR & higher OBA (Lollar, Sundberg, Schalk?) & upgrade your backup C to an .90M-1.00M guy (Grote? Dempsey?)
2. downgrading Works or Smith to a .65M-.90M LH specialist (just so you have one LH in the pen)
3. That would leave you 2.5M to 3.4M to boost your SP... and you'd still have thunderous offense.

I'll say!

So how did you have your starters and relievers set up?

Good question -I wonder how you get a 358 inning reliever.
