no not a list of prospects. Lets say i am using the Blue jays prospects then my home ballpark that my team plays in is the rogers center. But either way i'm also indifferent. Could make things for confusing for this rookie. I vote NO

I understand your confusion. I had the same confusion when I was new to these things. But in actuality it's all pretty simple. But it's hard for you to know that until you see the plan in action. Trust me, you wouldn't be left behind.

To answer your question your home ballpark has nothing to do with this proposal...or any other draft we hold.

Let's say you're not too keen on this proposal idea of mine (actually travelingjack's idea but I digress) then it may be advantageous of you to go ahead and vote affirmatively for the proposal and then refrain from taking part in this single propsect player draft. Why would you want to do that you ask? Because your fifth round pick could go much higher for the following season than it otherwise normally would (becasue everyone else chose to draft a player the preceding year).

Sknsfan, dan combined the two individual prospect drafts (Spring and Summer) into one last season. Maybe time was his concern, I don't know. Regardless, the rules do stipulate two individual prospect drafts.

I was considering a vote on it but Joe brought up the fact that the MLB draftee signing date will likely be deadlined before our Summer prospect draft time...making it an interesting and fun venture indeed. Meaning plenty of exciting prospect options at that time.

Aren't the new Stadium numbers (the singles and HRs) for the 2012 SOM season due out soon?

Anyhow, I will probably propose a vote for a more liberal Stadium policy pretty soon.
