New Stadium Proposal...


1. You may use any draft pick within rounds 1-5 of the Spring Free Agent draft to pick a new Stadium. At which time your former Stadium becomes available to everyone else during those rounds.

2. You may change your Stadium through the draft only once every two years...let's say you opt to change your Park in 2013. Then the next time you may draft a different Stadium is in 2015.

3. Nothing changes regarding the trading of Stadiums. You can still take advantage of this rule to acquire a new Stadium. Just that it must be in the "off" season.


Let's see if we can pass this one. I like your ideas and I'm hoping you do too. ha

Why so much about stadiums? We all knew what was happening from the beginning...trades only and as Dan said in the constitution "pick wisely"!

By the way, I can make it every three years for a Stadium change if that's what you prefer. If you vote yes and prefer the Stadium draft option every three years instead of every two then write that next to your yes.

And the period of time is personal...just as sknsfan laid out. You'd have to wait two full calendar years after drafting one to draft another one.

How do you "pick wisely"? How do you assess whether a potential prospect pick will "fit your park" especially when your park can change from lefty park to neutral park to ???? from year to year? How do you figure out what your hitters or pitchers will be like down the road......they can go from 3l to neutral to ????

I am still thinkimg on the proposal but will decide tonight.
