Trades- I have lots of depth available.
RP:
Affeldt (should have his usual good card against lefties, also solid against righties- good in HR parks)
Balfour (25 saves this year, 4 HR allowed in 72 innings, .92 WHIP)
League (72 IP, 1 HR, 3.13 ERA with a middling closer rating)
W. Lopez (should have a great card. 2.17 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 10 saves)
Ogando (probably looking to move him more than the others, but he should still have a good card)
Putz (normal, very good closer card)
Ramon Ramirez (obviously won't have a good card this year, but based on prior success I'll put him on here)
Paplebon (top 5 closer card?)
Joe Thatcher (3.41 ERA, should be a solid L8 ish lefty specialist (.509 OPS against vs L)

IF:
Might role with Doumit as my catcher unless i can get some upgrade. That likely puts Ramos and Hanigan on the block. Neither will be too cheap, but can move. Speaking of cheap: Ramon Hernandez.

Todd Frazier: He's valuable this year, but i have A-Gon at 1st and Wright at 3rd, so he can move. (1st+3rd elig, 465 PA, 19 HR, .829 OPS)
Chipper Jones: Went out with a bang. If you need 3B, he had his best OPS since 2008
Alexei: I need an upgrade at SS, i'd like to involve alexei and someone else.
Seager: 651 PA this year, w/20 HR and a .738 OPS. 13 SB. should have 3b/2b
Brett Wallace: 229 AB, 9 HR, .746 OPS, solid fielder
Smoak: still young (24) with upside and playing every day
I obviously have a lot of depth at 1b/3b so i'll be looking to move some of that depth.

OF:
Cruz: Will have another L balanced card, key difference is low INJ this year, and 45 doubles.
Torres: card similar to last year. good defensively
Jennings: Had a disappointing year, but is still an everyday player filled with upside
Rasmus: played every day at CF with 23 HR
Ichiro: hit 9 homers and improved his OPS by 50 points. valuable role player.
Stubbs: basically an upside play

DH:
Hafner

SP:
Looking to keep my big 4 (Cain, Lee, Felix, Moore)
all other SP's on my 40 could go

Prospects:
Rather not move Delgado, Simmons, Zunino, Hultzen but everyone else is movable

My team needs:
SS, DH, CF, corner OF who hits righties

Hit me up with offers.. I'll wait a day or two before posting my drops

Prospects:

In addition to the already announced promotion of Anthony Rizzo, I will promote Jerry Sands. The rest (Trayvon Robinson, Cesar Puello, and Jason Knapp) I will release. This will leave me with 11 picks coming in the FA draft.

Just sent out an email. As follows:

"Please read this note carefully, some important instructions & disclaimers here.

1) Attached are 2 files, 1 is a (mostly) updated roster file and the other is a (mostly) updated availables list. I say "mostly" because I did not capture the latest cuts/promos on the transactions page, I'll do those all at once on Weds.

2) The availables tab is the "Combined" tab in the 2nd Excel sheet. The 1st 2 tabs are ALL hitter/pitchers, owned or unowned, who played in MLB last season per SOM. Because SOM came out with ratings last week, and because I want us to be on a level playing field, I have included a very LIMITED set of SOM data on these sheets. Please do not forward/redistribute. The columns are (for both Ps and hitters): OB vs LH, TB vs LH, OB vs RH, TB vs RH. Beyond that I have also included fielding ratings for position players and endurance ratings for Ps.

3) THERE WILL BE ERRORS. REVIEW CAREFULLY. Please send me an email as well as posting these on the chat thread if you spot any.

4) Please post any cuts/drops on the transactions thread, and please a) copy/past from these files, and b) keep alpha order if possible. Will help me organize if we keep last name, firstname format on your posts.

5) We have had issues in the past of prospect players being picked for the FA draft when they are already owned. To avoid this moving fwd (meaning as of Thursday, not in this non-final version) I am putting all 2014 expiration date prospects on the 40-man page as well, on the bottom. So please use the Excel "find" function on the 1st tab when you are checking to see if someone is owned. All 2013 prospects will be either dropped (in which case I will add them to the availables list if they got an appearance in MLB last year) or they go back into the prospect pool for the March draft, or they will be promoted to the 40-man.

Finally, when I do the updated availables Weds nite, any players who were cut/dropped since Saturday will be listed as available but I will not put their SOM data up. It's too much work to go back and pull the SOM line so you'll just see their names.

I will also include the final draft order with traded spots on Thursday's version, but this package should get you started.

Happy researching!

Joey Votto was on Jason's roster in the earlier version. I doubt he will drop him, but he's listed as available.

Sorry, I was looking at the "all hitters" tab, not the "combined" tab. Apparently, I am a master of jumping to conclusions.
