6 out of 24 rosters slots is 25% of roster. So 10% of cap is reasonable. Though I will probably go a little over that in the end. I want to maximize what I get out of my investment in quality on top 2 relievers.

I am always going to have a good setup and a good closer. Once won a championship back in 2001 set with a nickel closer but never had the courage to try that again. And definitely not in ATG where the closer rating means nothing.

That six man model does look intriguing. It would, among other things, largely alleviate the scenario where your one specialist does the job for you, but HAL inserts him in the 6th or 7th inning; you are then left without the matchup you want when in the 9th inning you are facing a dangerous hitter.

In theory the usage goes something like this game.

But the above referenced team the bullpen may have been more expensive than it should have been. Wanting to divert just a little money from bullpen and a little from offense to rotation for a more balanced approach.

Plus I am hoping a little extra depth in bullpen will prevent games like this where a reliever is brought in already at F0

Lately in 2 ATG leagues, I've had Scott Garrelts set up and close for me.
Small ball, 1 $70 million and the other an $80 million league.
I've been trying 2 hard RH's, 2 hard LH's, a somewhat neutral R1 or R2 (RH usually from 2L- 2R) and Garrelts.
I've had everybody on quick hook and have tried to funnel all of the innings to Garrelts.

I think a long time ago I had some success with Garrelts in a 60 mil league.
