Max waiver claims

PostTue Jan 15, 2013 10:10 pm

Is there a maximum number of waiver claims I can make?
Setting up waivers and a little indecisive. I am up to 14 so far and still lets me keep picking.

Does that mean assuming money is still left all 14 will be granted?
What if I set up 25? Will I get them all? If so just might swap out this entire worthless group.

I think the only limitations are the roster positions, and not reaching the max number of pitchers/hitters. So you could conceivably swap out your entire team. Not sure that I would try it at $200M, but at $100M or less it might be fun. But I've seen guys take a lot of waivers even at the high cap.

I seem to remember that the limit on the number of waiver claims is eight. After waivers, there is no limit on moves you can make before the start of the season without cost.

it was 8 on the old TSN site. But the strato site just lets you keep setting them.

And if charmabums is right the sky is the limit. By this time tomorrow night I will know for certain. I am stretching this thing until it breaks, pops back, and hits me on the head.

Even the batboy is getting swapped out. As Jerry Jones says, ain't nobody here need to be feeling too comfortable right now.

The problem is that Jerrah has been having to say for nigh on 15 years now. Oh, did I say "problem"? I mean to say really "damn funny thing."

Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled discussion...

Well, I swapped out 13 players including my #18 waiver pick Frank Taveras. :D
An interesting and fun experiment.

assuming they just used an Integer value, my guess is 255 would be the limit.

Now that is a challenge, if I ever saw one! New entry in the record books? Number of successful waiver claims?
