I will be e-mailing the spreadsheet with all selected players highlighted in yellow and all "blocked" cards (additional cards for selected players) highlighted in gray. I also have a tab tracking each owner's spend through the first four rounds. I will send this to everyone that I have e-mail addresses for. If you haven't sent me your e-mail and want the sheet, please send me a message (my e-mail is on the first page of this thread).

We have completed four rounds (almost anyway) in reasonable order, but this is obviously a marathon, not a sprint. We do not have any provisions for skipping picks if it becomes necessary and hopefully we won't need to do that. But I would like to state that if we went a 24 hour period without any communication that would explain the lack of a pick, I'd reserve the right to call for a skip in the draft order.

That is a fairly liberal number (24 hrs) and hopefully won't create any issues for our group. I'd be willing to make it less if the majority call for that. We do not want stating that number to become an excuse for anyone delaying picks. We have a good group here and hope that everyone continues to keep up with the draft hour to hour, or make arrangements to set up a proxy (like Kev did) and communicate that intent to the group, if they need to be away for awhile. This really helps assure we don't lose momentum as the draft gets into the later rounds.

Personally, I like the idea of expanding the draft to 26 rounds (25 players and a stadium), as that will help make the AD and waivers processes much cleaner. But I feel like we need to walk before we can run, so to speak. Let's see how we do through 20 rounds, then we can make the call. If it's July 4th by then we may defer the last few rounds to the AD .

Thanks all - I think this thinner player pool makes for a great drafting situation, as you are constantly making trade-offs and living with the consequences. And though I have used a few of the players in this set in ATG, it's fun to be working a smaller player pool without the known anomalies in the '69 set ('69 Held, Egan, etc.).

And a little trash talk: How are you guys coping with me securing Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, the best pitcher in the set (Tiant) and the best reliever (arguably, or at least the best without double digit wild pitches (sorry Dougie)) in Radatz?

And if that has you crying in your coffee/milk/beer/rye just know that after four rounds of any draft I have ever done I am always pretty bullish on my team, but somehow I manage to parlay that optimism into very few championships....

Your suggestion regarding response time seems reasonable, if not a bit generous, but I can live with it. I'm currently managing (using the term loosely) two teams at the moment, so I'm not in a particular hurry.

Hey GDWARF -- how's Minnesota? I hear it's supposed to get down to negative -21 on Monday. I had to fly to Phoenix last night where it's 70+ degrees the next few days. I am going to enjoy not going outside with a coat for at least a few days.

Unfortunately, I get on a plane on Sunday where it's 70 degrees and get off the plane Sunday night where it's below zero. When does baseball start!? I can't wait until I'm sitting in Target Field with a beer and a dog complaining about the humidity!

Well, Kev, it is snowing lightly and cold, as advertised. Sunday night is the valley for temps, so enjoy that one. I have walked off many a jetway into the full systems shock of MN winter temps. Never (or is it always?) gets old!

I will definitely meet you at Target Field for a beer (and a game I suppose) this year - just gotta do a little planning. Let's make it work! Hopefully Aaron Hicks will be well on his way to ROY by that time and the team will surprise us!?
