Starting from top to bottom on our list (below) match the first name up with the 1st number of the random draft drawing. So if Supertyphoon is listed first and the first number is 5....he drafts in the 5th position and so on down the list! Rules are the same. 100 mil with NO DH this round, 5/10/20 0n the drops and advanced! Thanks again for your patience gang!

Sorry guys for taking so long to draft.Just got home from the hospital.Just about didn't make it.Icouldn't breath and blacked out and when I came to I was in the hospital.When they thought I was breathing well enough on my own they sent me home. They don't keep you in very long.I'm ok now but really worn out

Doug: Hang in there, get well and take your time. No clock, no pressure. The draft pales in comparison to your health, which should be your number 1 priority.

As for my pick, I decided to go in a different direction than usual by picking Rajah. I have him in a franchise based theme league that's winding down and he has been disappointing. In general, he has done well for me on past teams, but it has been a while since I've listed him on my draft card. Part of the reason I haven't listed him was the ATG6 Vaughan card, as I didn't want to have a pair of 2s in the middle infield, especially with medium to high e ratings. Also, Homerun Johnson has always given me great bang for the buck at 2B for half the price of Hornsby.

Lastly, we all like to look at other successful teams to see what works and what fails. Although Hornsby's numbers are almost always good, when I look at other teams that have gotten rings and/or had more than 100 wins in the ATG card set, Hornsby is almost always conspicuous by his absence. Although I've had him on at least a half dozen teams in the past, none of those teams has gotten a ring. It has made me wonder whether his high salary hurts teams more than he helps them.

But it's hard to resist the allure of a second baseman who could easily hit .350 40 140 at a $100 mil cap.

I've won with Hornsby a fair number times, but now I won't be able to show you how in this league.
