Take Maddux or Alexander in Waivers

PostMon Jan 21, 2013 1:21 am

Draft just completed.

My initial plan was to turn Duffy into his 1894 card, but I screwed up and realized he can't play RF! Oops. Waivers are Tuesday and there are a bunch of guys available such as Bonds, Gibson (C), Griffey, Williams, Arky, Waner, Boggs, Ichiro, Bagwell, and Maddux, Alexander, and Tiant). I have the 2nd pick. My division stadiums are Polo '11, County '78, Fenway '67. Polo has all RHSP while the others are 50-50.

I am leaning towards taking either Maddux or Alexander for Boddicker. Think I have too much RP? This is a no DH league

Yes you have too much pen for a 100m cap.

Duffy plays LF though; keep him and put him there and get Ichiro for RF.

I assume you are gonna dump Palmeiro and Edmonds.

Don't spend too much on SP either. Maddux or Alexander and Sadecki are definite keepers. Feel like Leonard is too costly, because you can find better values for Forbes57 than what he'll do for 10.81
