This may take longer than we thought.

Suggestion: In round 3 each player picks two stadiums. That should speed it up a little.

I don't think the problem is that it's taking people a long time to decide which stadium to select. The problem is that the league took so long to fill that some managers are unaware that stadiums are being drafted.

Once everyone is back on board the pace should pick up.

I think it's a bad idea to pick two stadiums in round 3, as it's unfair to those with the lower picks, as they will undoubtedly get stuck with two undesirable stadiums.

Let's keep the playing field as level as possible. We've come this far and will soon be picking our teams after getting over the stadium hump.

I agree with all of that BD. I think we will keep it the way it is. It's only one round we are talking about.

And the managers that haven't picked yet are pretty regular around here, so I think as soon as they see that the league is filled and moving it won't take as long as this first round is taking.

With only 4 rounds I figured a thread would be just as easy as using DD. but I wouldn't be opposed to that if people prefer it.

It took a long time to fill the league so I doubt everyone has even checked in yet to know we are going.

Using the Diamond Dope draft system is still an option. Load your proxies and it works.

Any chance we're loaded and playing by 11 February? If not, it's Chinese New Year holiday week and I'm planning my dive trip to Thailand.

I, too, prefer a Diamond Dope draft, as it keeps things moving better than a board draft. The problem here, though, isn't a lack of proxies, it's that not everyone is aware that we are picking stadiums.

Once we make it through the first round, meaning that everyone knows that stadiums are being drafted, things should go much faster.

I've sent Paul a message yesterday through league mail but haven't heard anything.

I guess I could set up a DD draft, but I know at least one manager doesn't even have a DD log-in.
