Meant to make mention of a few others on the hitter list but got sidetracked. And now I do not remember the names. But there were a couple where my first thought was to question but when I looked them up on baseball-reference saw they were MVPs in the year requested. So ATG continues to not only be fun but educational as well.

Not sure why they picked 1907 for Jordan - I requested 06 or 08; he hit a dozen HR and led the NL in HR both of those years.

i am currently waiting for a 2 team franchise post ww2 league to start.

i would actually try the blue jays if the new cards on this list were added. so hopefully we can move these cards forward and make the blue jays franchise relevant. why not not have art imitate life like the current jays revival this offseason

As I stated on the pitcher thread, and earlier on this thread, I feel that the ATG set is substantial, and just about right. I'm not really interested in adding a plethora of pre-1900 cards, nor do I want to add every anomalous Gates Brown or Roger Freed, nor do I want tons of new year 2000 and newer cards (they are in the 20xx game).

I play LOTS of Franchise Theme Leagues, so my thoughts tend to drift to giving assistance in that direction.

Personally I would like to see additions in this manner:
--Quickly Add important cards that complement cards players already in the set (like a better Al Kaline, etc)
--Quickly Add important players that aren't there at all (I mentioned Hank Thompson, a great NeL player who also was a key contributor to 2 NY Giant World Series teams (51/54)
--THEN (as in after the few needed 1900-1990 additions), add a sprinkling of more recent cards, but in a more chronological order (for example, get the Al Kaline's and Hank Thompson's in soon, then make effort to add important cards of the 1990s that need to come in, then maybe 2000-2005, then 2006-20whatever)

Law of averages. You requested 06 or 08. So those were averaged to get 07 which is the same as getting both. :D

PS I'll submit these to SOM (with whom I have absolutely no connection. I just play the game.). Hopefully they'll take our choices into consideration if there are further additions.
