Update: All Event 1 leagues, and Event 2 leagues 1-3 are now complete, leagues 4 and 5 in playoffs. Event 2 League 6 wraps regular season play next week, League 7 two weeks after that, and the first Event 3 league reports two weeks from now.

Some shuffling near the top of the standings, and a new face or two in the Top 24, with Event 2 results now complete for leagues 1-4, and leagues 5 and 6 in playoffs. Playoff results won't change things much, as most of the playoff teams in these leagues are fillers.

The last Event 2 league, League 7, will finish its regular season in 2 weeks. The first Event 3 league finishes next week.

Event 2 results are now complete except for League 7, which wraps regular season play next week. The first Event 3 results are in, with League 1 completing regular season play, now in playoffs.

Event 3 leagues 2 and 4 also finish regular seasons next week.

Three more leagues reporting, with results now in from all Event 1 and Event 2 leagues, and Event 3 leagues 1, 2 and 4 now in playoffs.

Terry101 still handily at the top, the only remaining manager with a 100+ average, but plenty of movement and tightening in the standings this week, including a bunch of big moves in and out of the Top 24. Looks like a logjam shaping up for the final spots, with a lot of managers still in contention.

Event 3 leagues 3 and 5 reporting final regular season results, Event 2 League 7 and Event 3 leagues 2 thru 5 now in playoffs. The standings continue to tighten up, especially around that #24 spot....

Regular season results are in from Event 3 League 6, joining League 5 still in playoffs. Not much movement in the standings this week, but should be a lot of changes next week, as the last two Event 3 leagues wrap up regular seasons along with the first three leagues in Event 4.

All results are now in for the first three events, except playoff results for Event 3 leagues 6-8. Likewise for the first three leagues in Event 4, with regular seasons now complete.

Several new managers in/out of the Top 24, with five leagues finishing regular seasons and others completing playoffs in the past week.

Results from the last six leagues could still determine the final spots. Those leagues started slow and late, with a lot of fillers, so results will be trickling in the same way, at the rate of about a league per week for the next six weeks or so.

Could be the end of March before the final spot is set. For most managers currently in the Top 24, except the half-dozen or so nearest the cutoff, a place in the Champs League looks secure. The rules don't mention seeding or any other advantage to finishing 1st vs. 24th in the standings, so except for the dozen or so managers on the "bubble", looks like things are mostly set, just a matter of waiting for the last leagues to play out.

Meanwhile, good luck to all the bubble guys!

Regular season results now in for Event 4 leagues 4 and 5, with a bunch of other leagues still in playoffs, and leagues 6-9 yet to report over the next 4 weeks. Looks like just a handful of managers still on the bubble for the Top 24.

Of those on the bubble, only one or two managers are in League 8, and none in League 9, so the 24 finalists will be known without results from League 9, and possibly without League 8 as well. At this point it appears playoffs in League 7 won't make a difference, so finalists could be set as soon as two weeks out. But still possible that League 8 playoff results will be needed, which would make it three weeks plus a week or two of playoffs.

If they finish well, it could come down to MrHacktastic and/or possibly FoggyOne battling in League 8 for the last shots at the final spot. If not, League 7 should wrap it up.

Michaelrobb11 in Event 4 League 9 still needs to finish his back 9 and get into the clubhouse with enough wins. With 78 games to play, it looks like he still needs about 32 wins or so to clinch a berth in the final 24. It should be doable but event 4 is proving to be a tough one. By the way, there are a number of players who still have games to finish in event 4 who are within a few points above or below the 24th spot, as set out on the preliminary standings thread, last post. Things are still in a bit of a state of flux, especially with the possibility of playoff points thrown into the mix.
