Have you read the two Scroogie cartoon books that Tug wrote? I was going to insert an image of the books here but I see that function is no longer available.

Anyway the books are titled Scroogie and Scroogie 2. Here is a link to them on Amazon.

I found the first book when I was a kid in a used paperback book store and have read it many times. Only in the last few years did I realize that there was a second book and I purchased that one online somewhere.

I guess I've always thought that McGraw was always a reliever, but I found out that he did start a few games in his career. In fact, here is the box score for a complete game victory that he pitched against the Chicago Cubs back in 1969.
