joe Kendall is making his 4th round Prospect pick later today....from last years Spring Prospect draft. The problem was that I traded the pick to Joe during our inaugural FA draft but I absent-mindedly made the pick anyways. And in all that time no one has garnered Joe's 4th round pick after it was discovered i had erroneously made the pick. Joe is getting a freebie today but I'm not allowing anyone to make late picks again. No matter what. Joe does get the benefit of having an added full season (2012) of stats from prospects to aid his decision. That's the primary reason this won't be done again.

I won't allow grossly late picks any longer. Not for any reason. If you fail to make your pick in any draft we hold,for whatever reason, within a weeks time after a draft's completion you simply forfeit the pick. And that only applies to the last round of any draft. Any other picks not made within the time of the draft are automatically forfeitted. It's your responsibility to know your picks...even if someone (like me for instance... ) picks in your place by mistake. So you need to speak up if your pick gets taken by someone else. If you snooze, you looze!

Sorry Joe, but after a whole year has gone by I feel as though you forfeited that pick by not bringing it up much much sooner. Just my two cents but would've thought this would've been voted on since so much time has passed.

It would have obviously been ideal if Joe had listed a player of his choice immediately after I made the erroneous pick. That would be the ideal scernario.

Actually, I did bring it up to the commish after the error was discovered last year. I did not receive a response.
