I would like to play in leagues that have an entry fee and give cash prizes upon winning, i.e., fanduel.

There would be a glitch, and the payout wouldn't happen.

Actaully IIRC, they tried to do this when the game first launched, and it was a problem because of laws about gambling and sweepstakes prizes in various individual states. Some states didn't allow for a cash prize to be claimed because they see the game as a form of gambling. It was then droppped and rewarding winners with game credits became the norm.
