The Signs They Are a Changing 1960-69 League - Playing

I'm in too. I can help with the spreadsheets breaking out the players available for each era. Although I won't have much free time until Friday.

And I just did a quick check of available hitters pre 1909; barely 4 pages on the browser list.

I would suggest the earlier league would have to be pre-1920 providing enough players and then segregating it as the dead-ball era from the start of the home run era - Ruth in 1920.

I am in. I love the live drafts. How about doing this every year and have prizes? Maybe last three cumulative places have to each put in 20 bucks for a First Place trophy and mail it to winner?Maybe other prizes?Thoughts? Probably should start a waiting list as well. We could also use the shuffle the deck format for one or more of the leagues...

We need a minimum number of players for each league like this one. As we can all see we are down to dregs so anything less than this many players to pick from is too small. Actually the player pool for this league was just about perfect. I can look tonight and see how these leagues break out.

All of these ideas and thoughts sound great!

I have not looked at the volume of players for each era so this is especially great feedback.

I like the idea of prizes and since I will likely be in the bottom three, I have no problem chipping in $20! I might as well right the check right now...you do accept checks right? LOL

I'm not sure if we get all 7 done ion a "year" but a complete set of eras will constitute our "year" and the "entire tournament".

If we can actually sustain this over some time, we can keep stats to see who is the strongest SOM player in each era....but that may be getting ahead of ourselves...LOL! Nothing wrong with looking ahead I suppose?
