My intentional play on words with "Along Came Jones" was from the Coasters song. There was also a Gary Cooper movie with the same "Along Came Jones" title.

To the best of my knowledge, RS had not yet been selected. Search function did not work for Smith, since it supposedly is too common a name (although Hal Smith is the only other Smith in this particular player set). I typed the word Reggie in the Search function, and there was no results, and I knew that Reggie Jackson had been previously selected. In reviewing the earlier posts, I discovered that Reggie had been misspelled Regiie, and that was why his name didn't show up. So if Reggie Smith was previously selected, then Reggie must have been misspelled again!!

I'm learning all sorts of things from this experience. This a great way to learn the players. And limiting it by era makes it much less daunting.
