In 76 I was a high school junior watching my favorite team lose every night on WOR. Was quite the nerd in school but hung out with the other nerds but male and female so we had a blast!

Paul- Do you have an Excel or similar list of the eligible players by team, or do we simply work off the 70's game rosters and the baseball reference link?

And please confirm I am reading the rules correctly. There is no competition for any players. If they are on your '76 roster, you get that player (and thus all his possible 70's game cards). With the only exception being the multi-team players that are assigned via your prior post. So this is all about scouting the '76 rosters vs. which (if any) cards they have in the 70's Game set). Is that right?

Hopefully all the combinations involved can field a team... I haven't played this set much so do not know it as well, maybe there is a great surplus of players. Sounds fun in any case - thanks!

Hey Dan, glad you signed up. I do not have a spreadsheet, but if you use the link provided here, then click on each team you can see all players who appeared in at least one game for them in 1976.

http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagu ... 1976.shtml

To answer your second question, if a player was on your team in 1976, he's yours. Nobody else can claim him. Hank Aaron is a good example. He played for the Brewers in 1976, so he belongs to them and only them, even though none of the seasons on his card are from his Brewer years.

It will not be a problem fielding a full team, provided you draft your second team with an eye toward what you didn't get with your first. Some guys love having the first and last picks, while others prefer being nearer the middle.
