We have often played leagues that know the division alignment ahead of time, as the draft progresses. This does enable owners to try to load up on players that stack up favorably against the competition and ballparks. I have often tried to do this, not sure if successfully. Just one more way to try to differentiate your team.
The rules are brand new that is the reason I am giving the chance for feedback. I think for this league I will make a decision now to say we will do divisions by randomizer. Then we know the plan and we can debate this for next round instead of this one.
Keep in mind that starting next round the draft order will be the reverse order of the point totals when the draft begins. Will be fun to see how the points stack up and standings change as our first season progresses! Hopefully I will be picking 12th again (not likely)...
