Has anyone looked at available ballparks for this era?

If so can you please post them? Thanks

As for divisions, as state din the rules: Each season the division alignment is established by a post-draft randomizer.

This means we cannot draft to meet the evolving needs of the division opponents. I am willing to change this to the standard East: 1, 4, 7, 10 method if the majority like that better.

Please post your preference.

I say stick with the rules. In virtually all leagues I've participated in I've never known my division opponents' ballparks, and we normally don't select ballparks until the mid-to-late rounds, anyway. IMO, I don't see that it makes a difference.

We have often played leagues that know the division alignment ahead of time, as the draft progresses. This does enable owners to try to load up on players that stack up favorably against the competition and ballparks. I have often tried to do this, not sure if successfully. Just one more way to try to differentiate your team.

The rules are brand new that is the reason I am giving the chance for feedback. I think for this league I will make a decision now to say we will do divisions by randomizer. Then we know the plan and we can debate this for next round instead of this one.

Keep in mind that starting next round the draft order will be the reverse order of the point totals when the draft begins. Will be fun to see how the points stack up and standings change as our first season progresses! Hopefully I will be picking 12th again (not likely)... :(

I just created my 50s team so that I could see the stadiums. We can still use the post WW2 player group as it begins with 1947 players which perfectly matches our draft criteria.

I wonder if we should have two threads going for each league. For example, we should have the 1947-59 Draft Thread where it's only the Draft Picks (and a list of stadiums). We can continue the chat on this thread. That way we aren't going back pages after pages trying to find the stadiums or who was picked, etc. Just a thought. I'm not the commish. I'm just a an ATG7 lemming here.

It does get cumbersome going back through the pages to check. But if we have multpile strings going it gets more complicated to be checking each one every time you go online. I suggest everyone use the spreadsheet to mark off selected players in some way. I did that for all through 20 rounds last time and am just not in a spot work-wise to commit to that right now. But going through and highlighting each pick is easy.

If you want to try a chat page Kev, go for it and we can try. Even lemings have some rights...
