We might be accused of false advertising if we call this iteration of the league "fast" :D

It's kinda of a sloooow "Fast" league this round fer sure! lol I just talked to Doug. He went back in the hospital, as we suspected, but they let him out again yesterday. He sounded very groggy, like that disorientation groggy you feel when your coming out of anesthesia. I told him to take his time as his health is more important this this game. He knows he is up for a pick and will get around to it when he feels he can. Thanks for hanging in there guys! I know Doug appreciates it!

We is molasses fast there, Boys, and enjoying every minute of it too! Sounds like they actually had to perform a surgery just to check out that possible tear.

Go Dugger! Hang tough, Big Guy! You're keeping that infernal Dave from "timing me out" ...

Will be skipping town tomorrow and will not be back until Sunday late. Pretty much no internet, however if FB remembers my # he could probably get me to give him a pick or two.

Thanks Bernie. My wife was the only one that watched a lot of TV, so I decided to give Comcast the boot. No cable TV, internet or land-line phone. Wasn't worth the nearly $200/month they were charging for fairly basic service with no movie channels and a single DVR. As a result, I have no internet access at home, but the clubhouse for our housing area has Wi-Fi access and it's only a short walk from the house. I'm loving the over-the-air free digital TV with a directional antenna, much sharper picture and a bonus of 2-3 extra band channels that show lots and lots of old TV shows from the 60s and 70s. Of course living in Miami - I had to filter out at least 20-30 spanish language channels after running an auto-scan for the local digital signals. If we have a dedicated time to draft / frenzy, I can plan on it, but otherwise I only check the internet once maybe twice per day. -- Dan M.

Hard to set up a time for frenzy right now guys. I've been talking to Doug for the last week and his pain is really bad. I don't want to push it right now so we'll finish up the 6 fast (slow) picks and look at everyone's schedule then. Doug is having a very hard time managing his pain and thats the reason he keeps going back to the hospital. They treat it for a little while, then release him again without any long (or even short term) solutions.

No hurry to finish the draft, but could we consider a name change for this league? I would like to suggest changing the name to not so fast my friend in honor of the ESPN college football pre game analyst, Lee Corso. Mr Corso is famous for saying not so fast my friend to the other analysts during their predictions on the days big games when he disagrees with them.

Nothing to do with the pace of this draft. lol

Since we are in Round Six of the draft and should finish by Tuesday, at least it appears that it's a possibility. This still leaves the task of getting everyone to enter the league. Of course this is assuming Dugger is feeling well enough to participate.

So instead of a Frenzy maybe we should consider waivers :?: :?:
everyone then has an equal chance day and evening to make claims......no special time needed nor schedules to work around.

Just a thought

Decent idea Joe. That might allow this league to get going so we can all start sharpening our spikes for a Blatz frenzy in a couple months. 8-)
