first look at draft order for SBDL season 28

1) Honeyman (72-90 regular season)
2) zrot (74-88 5-7 vs Novie)
3) Novie (74-88)
4) Bunze0 (75-87)
5) thaibill (79-83...and lose tiebreaker in division!)
6) JoeOC (80-82)
7) 13baseballs (81-81)
8) tomwistar (91-71, +100 run differential!)
9-12)TBD based on season 27 playoff records

planning for season 28 may certainly begin. Anyone may list their first 3 keepers at any time. Steal picks must wait until all teams have named keepers. There is no rush, but I would like to set a initial goal for first round keepers to be named by March 1 (the Finals for season 27 should be completed by that time).

Wow you let the other 21 guys know they're expendable before your playoff run...

Management is tough at Munich Sechs Maniacs......hope all those potential Free Agents are taking note.

Yeah, probably not a good idea. On the other hand, I have a complete news blackout in the clubhouse. Don't want my guys getting too big a head, or read about their imminent demise, etc.

I won'T tell if you don't.

I made some rookie mistakes in my first season back in the SBDL and plan to make corrections. I had the worst record in extra inning games and I think 1 run losses. Obviously if you look at my roster, the bullpen got gored. Curiously however, towards about the 100 game mark, my team started getting out homered each series by quite a lot, which defies logic. This diminished productivity also coincides with Hackra's prediction that the Orz'z would finish last. (I was in first at the time of his writing) Management has hired Eisnenburg and Jesse to destroy his crystal ball.

Tim,
My predictions weren't nearly as good as you think. I looked back and actually had you picked to go 81-81 and tied for 2nd in you division.

So far, I am liking the way the playoffs started. It appears that leaking the news to the Sechs Maniacs about the players that did not make the Keeper list worked well to get their spirits down for the post season. (I didn't tell them - but someone appears to have done so....could it have been Bill? :) )

Ghost Keepers:

1. Three Finger Brown
2. Hugh Duffy
3. Frankie Frisch

Bill Byrd is available or he's headed for the rocking chair (6th Round draft pick and he's yours) :ugeek:

Ahh, the memory grows fuzzy as I age, and my research work gets sloppy. I've phoned Eisenburg and Jesse, but they are not answering.
