OK I am in. This is my second Keeper League. They are fun. I like drafting more than the games. I would perfer only 2 seasons as I don't want to play more than about 10 games a year.

Yes, Houston players would be available for this season, but since its a NL only keeper league... they would not be available for the 2013 card set.

Half way there!! Come on folks, lets get this thing filled. And ratify a constition.

You might want to set some of the rules yourself. Players shy away from keepes leagues that are made on the fly so to speak. Go ahead and make it the way you want it and after that when guys sign up they will ask for different rules if they are interested but something is keeping them out. How many seasons a year? What happens when a player is traded to the AL. How many players will be drafted? How many will be dropped? What the draft order is? Next year the order will be last to first then first to last or just last to first. I know some of this has been answered buy it seems like you are open to anything. Hard to commit when all is on the table. I believe if you do this you will fine 12 guys that want to play without a DH. That is why I sighed up.

Basic Rules.

NL players only. No Unleashed players eligible till the prospect draft.
We will kick off our league, with the 2012 card set.
26 round draft (1 for a NL stadium) Serpentine draft, order by randomizer. No clock the first 3 rounds, clock starts at 10AM EST the morning, we are ready to start the 4th round.
Once you own a stadium, it is yours forever, and can only be changed if the BP effects change by 6 or more in one categeory, or, 15 or more, in all four categories.
We will play 2 seasons a year. One as soon as the cards come out, the other will start the first week of Oct.

During this first year, at the 42 game mark, we will have a 10 round draft, to build a bench. The draft order, will be determined by record, worst to first, and ties will be broken by a teams run differntial. This also, will be serpentine.

Because the cap is unlimited (200 million), moves within your organization, are unlimited, bearing in mind the min requirements to play the SOM game.

A prospect draft,5 rounds, will be held at the end of the first seasons playoffs, order, again to be set by record, worst to first, ties broken by run differential. We will hold this prospect draft, while the real season, is in progress. Prospects, are any player, not carded in the 2012 set. 2012 Unleashed players, may be picked during the prospect draft. But may not be on your active roster for either season we play with the 2012 cards.

All SOM team requirements, must be met.
At the end of season 1,before season 2 starts, we will have a 40 man roster (25 initial draft+10 waiver draft+5 prospect draft)

Houston players are eligible, for this season, but must be cut for the 2013 card season.
Players cut, or traded by any NL team, is still available for the current season we are playing, they must be released prior to the spring draft, of the next carded season.

A Free agent draft, will occur next spring, that consists of upto 15 rounds. Again, worst to first, NFL style, ties broken by run differential. You must have the roster space, to attain all 15 picks. Prospects, may stay on prospect list, if they will not recieve a card, for the current season we are in.

Anyone please remind me if I am missing or forgetting anything.
