After we get started there is only limited need to go thru each position sequentially as we have the idea of Primary Position in place. After the First Round is complete we can jump into other rounds as some players are only eligible at their Primary Position.
For example, in the First Round presently underway, the remaining picks for 3B and P and 1B picks can be made in any order as they will not interfere with each other.
My hope is this draft does not take a week+ to complete, hence the idea of Primary Position.
Yeah, i have a pick in mind too, thats not 3b or 1b... just waiting me turn. And will follow what everyone else does. Drafting by position rounds, or, by the rounds that were selected during the randomizer, doesnt matter to me. I will do as I am told.
Hmm. I don't think doing all of the positions simultaneously will work, now that we have 3 generic P positions. After the first round, demand for pitchers will be pretty intense, and there should not be a situation where first come first serve rules. As it stands, there is nothing to moderate the movement of pitchers in the 3 P positions, and if one manager was delayed getting online he could end up with the 2nd P pick in one of the rounds, but the 12th best P. What am I missing?
