Let's NOT start this weary process from scratch. Let's just:

1) Find a sub for FB (at least one other manager expressed an interest) unless he changes his mind. FB or sub can keep Wagner as his ss pick.

2) Eliminate the third round for pitchers. There are only 12 of us, after all, and adding a 13th round for pitchers guarantees that someone will get screwed. Leave the first pitching round for SPs only, and the second for RPs only. Then a 13th round for stadiums and on to autodraft. Having a 13th player round was a mistake to begin with.

3) Make sure everyone understands that only a player whose primary position is the one specified in each round can be drafted.

4) Above all, move on!

I agree. Just to clarify, if we restore the first pitching round to SPs or SPs/RPs, I assume I have to drop Murray, but get my pick of any SPs, including those already picked.

IF we do reinstate the draft, maybe bmilner and I can agree to a trade (he can keep Murray and I can keep Maddux)....so we do not have to repick.

I am not sure any longer that reinstating will be possible though, as it appears we have lost more than 1 manager (or at least I can't tell who is still on board)

I'm still in, too. And I would agree to the swap of Murray for Maddux, if that's satisfactory to both doc and bmilner, with bmilner then getting to draft a sp in the rp round. If not, then bmilner should get his pick of any starting pitcher (if he drafts one already selected later, so be it. We'll adjust.

The rounds will be modified -
scrap the 13th round
keep the stadium draft round
rd1 RF, rd2 CF, rd 3 2b, rd 4 ss, rd 5 lf, rd 6 any SP, rd 7 C, rd 8 RP only, rd 9 3b, rd 10 any P, rd 11 1b, rd 12 any H
we will assume hackra (me) and rmilter traded picks of Maddux and Murray (to keep rounds consistent)
rmilter MAY pick a SP in rd 8 if he chooses (comishioner's ruling)
we will go round by round completing the remaining picks and rounds in order to avoid confusion

The following managers need to confirm if they are in -

We either need to find a replacement for Frank Bailey or talk him into returning
A replacement would be allowed to keep Honus OR repick (what happens if he wants Arod or Yount I am not sure)
