Like I said before, I'm OK with the prospect draft. I would suggest that we have a rule that prospects that sign with NL teams can only be held on the prospect list for up to 2 years after they have a strat card (we are using unleashed). So if a prospect was with an NL team and got a strat card for 2014, you could keep him on your prospect list for 2014 and 2015, but then you would have to either promote him as an AL player in 2016, or drop him from your prospect list in 2016. The purpose of this rule would be to prevent teams from "hiding" NL players on their prospect list for an extended period of time. You could still benefit from trades of prospects, say from an NL team to an AL team. But once a player has a strat card - NL or AL - this rule would take effect.
