Fine, I ll do as the others do, doesnt matter, I like my picks anyhoo... Let's find a replacement, and keep on keeping on.

No word yet from teamsters805, who apparently made his second pick (Mauer) by proxy. Nothing heard from him since. I propose that if he has not checked in by 8 p.m. (PST) today, we seek a replacement, along with one for FB. I'll do that if we agree. Also think we should erase teamsters' Mauer pick, but let his first-round 3b pick (brett) stand. Once we get two new members, we probably should pick up the latest posting of choices from our original draft thread and start a new thread with it.

Why would we erase the Mauer pick? Either we keep all the picks, or we start over.

I'm sure the thinking was that there have not been any further picks at catcher, so if the new player wanted someone other than Mauer, he could make a new selection because it would not prejudice anyone.

Personally, I am cool either way...like most of us, just eager to get the ball rolling again.

I posted for a replacement on the ATG forum, offering N Texas widowmakers first opportunity, since he had expressed interest previously. I think we should start a new position draft league thread containing the latest picks we made (and updated with teamsters' two new picks). That would eliminate all the extraneous discussions we had that made the previous thread unwieldy. Any volunteers?
