I need some clarification on what we are voting on. Is this vote on a rule change to the constitution or to allow the trade to go through? I voted yes because there is nothing in our current constitution which would disallow the trade. I'm in favor of adding language like the fowldawg corollary but shouldn't that be a separate vote?

I vote no, but would like to see the rules language change if there is support for this time of deal.

The vote is for this particular deal, since it was not considered when the rules were drafted.

I would support adding a new rule for future deals, which clarifies this question.

Thanks. I was considering changing my vote to no just to get the draft going again but changing the constitution without a vote would set a bad precedent so I'll stick with yes.

When I began this poll on Thursday, I said "This is not a major issue for me, so if a majority of the remaining managers (other than Dan and I) say the deal should not be allowed, then we will cancel it."

Since a majority equals half plus one, that means 10/2 = 5 and 5 + 1 = 6; thus, 6 negative votes will kill the deal.

So far, we have 4 negative votes with 2 managers not voting yet...

If a manager has no room for another prospect, can he trade away a prospect pick before his turn rolls around?

Neither players nor prospects can be dropped, after a draft has begun

I love spit like this .it's half the reason I play online games. In my small mind the question becomes does the draft pick exist or not .If it exists, absent any specific rules ,it must be under someones control. If a prospect could be dropped during a draft bringing a prospect roster under ten,the draft pick would be activated and could be used by said player to choose a player or trade the pick, and so it exists. If the player with ten prospects can not drop a player to access the pick it does not exist .And so before I confuse myself further I vote no.
