Haha, I was between Banks and Alou. Treyomo made my decision easy by snagging Alou right before me. :ugeek:

I would like to have some more flexibility with the shuffle rules. For instance, what I'd really like to do is have a shuffle with no hitters over 9m and no Dale Murray. I'd then go 100m, so we'd have aces still be aces, and the flexibility to have a nice roster and some options as to how you build your team.

Dale Murray can take offense if he wants, but he pollutes every league like his very own PED. :P

That is a good idea - be able to exclude certain players from the shuffle whether by values or by exact name -

there is no reason that a gentlemen's agreement could not be made to exclude certain individuals even if they are added to the shuffle.

Then again, I do not take much offense at Mr. Murray or other anomalies (Gates Brown, Barry Bonds, Pedro Martinez...).

I don't consider Pedro to be an anomaly. His card is no more dominant than he was in real life.

I didn't say his card was an anomaly...his dominance, Fat head, Big Mac.....that I may have another opinion on.

An anomalous card perhaps is Bob Gibson, 1968. What a season! (but his card never lives up to his dominance...even at a $60,000,000.00 cap )

Should Ted Simmons' speed make him an anomaly as well?

I continued the run on discount middle infielders. Who's next on the wheel of cheap?

Dale Murray shouldn't have an R4, they should have some sort of tiered system where you have to pitch X number of innings to get a high R rating, not just basing it upon how many innings per appearance despite how few they were.
