He's only valuble if you are playing the unleashed set, otherwise he doesn't exist. ;)

How would you like to be stuck with the Colorado Pitching staff for a season! 18 pitchers for a grand total of $11.76MIL. Comes out to 653,000 per pitcher. I don't think that has ever happened! What a bunch of beachball tossing wet noodle arms. Sorry to you Rockie fans but I guess you already knew that.

Yeah, bad staff to begin with, (GM Dan O'Dowd- "Hey, for our ace let's get a flyball pitcher who gives up a lot of hits and does not get very many strikeouts", Genius!! How does he still have a job?) add in injuries, Coors Field, hot, dry summer air, and typical Rockies mismanagement (more O'Dowd paraphrasing - "I have been the Rockies GM for over 10 yrs now, I think maybe we need to make some adjustments for the altitude". You think Dan? How does he still have a job???)

Can't jusitfy spending that for a 4Injury walk machine in a regular $80M league or even a $100M league

How is McKenry a $4.06 card?. Other than some power he is a low average and terrible arm catcher

"the response to the pricing that i foresee is that there will be more 100 million leagues instead of the more regular 80 million."

Doesn't that degrade the 'integrity' of the game?

I prefer to play only $80M leagues. The pricing is not an issue.

The pricing of the 2012 set is atrocious from top to bottom. Here is just a partial list of players from the first free agent whose pricing is so out of whack it is not funny:

McCutchen (Geekor - 8 xb hits vs RH's is PATHETIC for a $12.41m dollar player. See the ATG VII sets for examples)
Cano (Unusable vs. LH pitching)
Headley (his OB chances on his card do not accurately reflect his OBP for 2012 and he has almost zero XB power)
Posey (his RH side is average at best - Mauer from a few years ago is the same price and he is appreciably better vs. his weak side)
Molina (see Posey)
A. Jackson
D. Wright
E. Encarcion (way too expensive given vast majority of his damage vs. LH pitching)
J. Heyward (massively overpaying for his defense - his offense is marginal at best)
M. Cabrera ( massively overpaying for defense and his OB chances)
E. Andrus (MASSIVELY OVERPAYING for defense)
A. Jones (MASSIVELY OVERPAYING for defense)
D. Pedroia (MASSIVELY OVERPAYING for defense)
A. Ramirez (overpaying for his production vs LH pitching)
J. Ruggiano (overpaying for his production vs LH pitching)
M. Bourne (MASSIVELY OVERPAYING for defense)
